1. No electric instruments or drums. 2. Contestants in any category may perform unaccompanied or with one or two accompanists. 3. All contestants will perform two tunes. 4. Finalists will be selected in all categories if time permits.
Restrictions 1. Fiddle contestants will NOT be allowed to use "Orange Blossom Special", "Black Mountain Rag", or "Listen to the Mockingbird" as their breakdowns. 2. Bands must have at least three members and no more than six. No contestant playing in one band will be permitted in another. Band are required to play at least one vocal number. The other can be vocal or instrumental. 3. Buck dancing - no holds barred. |
